In less than 24 hours, the first Amazon Prime Day deals begin in the US
The countdown to Amazon Prime Day deals is in effect, with less than 24 hours for the first official items on sale.
But we're already seeing deep discounts on a number of key products in the lead up to Prime Day 2017. Like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Amazon is trying to make its own online shopping 'holiday' a week-long thing.
That's wonderful news if you want to pay as much as half price, with 4K TV deals, the Echo speaker on sale and temporary video game price drops if you own a PS4 or Xbox One. Sorry, Nintendo Switch is still not in stock for Amazon prime Day as far as we can tell.
Early Amazon Prime Day deals so far
Naturally, we're seeing discounts on Amazon's products, both new and refurbished, including Amazon Echo, Amazon Kindle and Amazon Fire tablets.
You can also load up on important everything that has to do with enjoying these devices, including $.99 movie rentals, $.99 music streaming, and cheaper reading Kindle Unlimited subscriptions.
We're seeing phones on sale, too. Amazon has $50 Android phones and the Samsung Galaxy S8 at more than 25% off right now. Same deal applies to the S8 Galaxy Plus at 25% off.
