  • GoPro Hero5 Black: GoPro has become synonymous with action cameras and, as a company, has listened to its fans, coming out with some of the best rugged, go-anywhere cams on the market today. The GoPro Hero5 Black is a sturdy little camera that shoots 4K videos at 30fps and 12MP still images. If you’d like to record your next surfing adventure or your mountain biking trip, you can save $70 on the regular RRP of $569 by ordering it from Kogan for $499 and keep some of the fun and frolic saved for posterity’s sake.
  • GoPro Hero5 Session: The Hero5 Session is GoPro’s smallest camera, but it’s capable of shooting stabilised 4K videos and features a variety of new field of view modes. It usually retails for anywhere from $459, but it’s now available online for $359 at Kogan, saving you $100.
  • DSLR camera and lens sale: Anyone want to go snap-happy and get some cash back? JB Hi-Fi has a range of Nikon and Canon cameras on sale, that includes 30% cashback on redemption for select Canon cameras and lenses and up to $200 cashback on Nikon cameras. There are kit lenses available with some models or you can chose just a camera body and invest in a lens separately.
  • Zero-X drones: Want to see the world from a very different perspective? You could try using a drone. And JB Hi-Fi is giving you the opportunity to save up to $100 on Zero-X drones. You can get the Zero-X Rapture HD drone, which features a remote control mounted LCD screen, for $299, saving you $100. Or you could choose the Zero-X Raven+, capable of 1080p video recording and 5MP still photos, for $149, saving you $50. You can also save $100 on the Zero-X Nova, which features built-in Wi-Fi and two-way communication, and get it for $199.
  • Nikon KeyMission 170 4K action camera: It’s waterproof, shockproof and freezeproof, and it records 4K Ultra HD videos. If you’re looking for an action cam with a pocket-friendly price tag, this could well be it. It’s currently on sale at JB Hi-Fi for $399, saving you $180 on the RRP of $579.
  • Sony FDRAX53 4K handycam: Capture your memories and the antics of friends and family when on holiday in 4K quality with this Sony camcorder. It features BOSS, or Balanced Optical SteadyShot, that reduces camera shake when filming within the wide-angle and telephoto zoom range, so you can shoot like a pro. Save $300 on this handycam by getting it from JB Hi-Fi for $1,099 instead of its usual price of $1,399.
  • Netgear VMC3040s Arlo Q Plus 1080p HD security camera: If you’ve got a small business and want to ensure its safety, the Arlo Q Plus from Netgear will record all comings and goings at any time of day (or night) in 1080p HD. You can even listen and talk to colleagues using two-way audio. It can be mounted on any surface, has Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity, plus gives you live streaming and cloud storage. Better yet, you can save $90 by getting it from JB Hi-Fi for $299, down from $389.
  • Microsoft Surface Pro 4: The “tablet that can replace your laptop” is back on sale again. This time you can get 15% off on the RRP for the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 powered by an Intel Core processor. You can get between 128GB to 1TB storage and between 4GB and 16GB of RAM. So head on over to the Microsoft store and take your pick. But if you’d like to save a dollar or two, then JB Hi-Fi has the same 15% discount on offer, but it excludes the 1TB version. This offer includes the Surface Pen and is on until 24 April.
  • ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q 34-inch curved ultra-wide gaming monitor: Immerse yourself in your game with the curved Swift PG348Q from ASUS, which gives you a whopping 34 inches of screen real estate and 3440 x 1440 resolution. It also features Nvidia G-Sync technology for smooth gameplay. With a retail cost of nearly $2,000, it may seem a high price to pay, but you can save over $231 on this beauty by purchasing it from SaveOnIT for $1,767.15.
  • Acer Aspire V3 13-inch Ultrabook: With a stylish metal finish, this 13.3-inch Ultrabook from Acer features a 1920 x 1080 resolution IPS FHD monitor, an Intel Core i5 CPU, 4GB of memory and a 256GB SSD. And until Friday, 23 April, you can get free shipping and $500 off on this machine, being on sale at Mwave for $799. That’s down from $1,299. If Mwave have run out of stock, you could even consider getting it from either Kogan or Dick Smith for $819.
  • HP ProBook 450 G4 15-inch Notebook: Designed by HP to make you more productive, this business Notebook gives you a 15-inch anti-glare monitor, with an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD. You can get it for less than its usual RRP of $1,249 by heading to Tandy.com.au and getting it for $1,013.49, saving you over $235.
  • Netgear Orbi AC3000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi System: Netgear says this is the first Wi-Fi system to utilise tri-band technology, which keeps you connected to your home internet no matter where you are. It covers up to 4,000 sq ft and is easy to use. Simply plug in the Orbi router to your service provider gateway or modem, place the accompanying satellite unit in the centre of your home and let it do its thing. It retails for $749, but Harvey Norman is currently selling it for $597, saving you $152 and eliminating any dead zone in you home.
  • Bosch SMS68M28AU freestanding ActiveWater dishwasher: A four-star energy rating is pretty good, but this dishwasher comes with a five-star water rating, too. Bosch has designed this dishwasher to be quiet and promises that the extra-hot final rinse will kill 99.9% of bacteria on your dishes. You can get it now for $1050 at JB Hi-Fi, as opposed to $1,236, saving you $186 and lower energy bills.
  • Beko DFN16420W 14-place setting freestanding dishwasher: If you need a dishwasher but are on a tight budget, you could consider Beko’s 14-place setting option which gives you six different wash programs, including a half-load function. It usually retails for $538, but you can get it for $421 at JB Hi-Fi, with $117 saved in the bargain.

  • KitchenAid Nespresso machine: Make yourself a great cup of joe with KitchenAid’s Nespresso machine. It comes with an Aeroccino3 milk frother, features a 1.4L removable water tank and an adjustable cup shelf and cup warmer. With free shipping available, you can get it for $479. That’s down from $799, saving you $320. It’s available in Empire Red, Medallion Silver, Almond Cream and Onyx Black.
  • Games sale: The Easter long weekend might be over, but that doesn’t mean playtime is. You can now get two games for just $40 at JB Hi-Fi. So get your fill of the Uncharted series, Dishonored 2, The Elder Scrolls, Deus Ex and plenty more available for PlayStation 4 and XBox One.

Deals added Thursday, 13 April and still available

  • PS4 Pro 1TB bundle: There are some great gaming bundles available at Big W at the moment — note that some are in-store only, though a couple can also be purchased online. The 1TB PS4 Pro console bundled with Horizon Zero Dawn is available in store only for $499. But if you just want the regular (non-Pro) PlayStation 4, the 500GB console with additional DualShock 4 controller and Mafia 3 is available for $349. The 1TB PS4, extra controller and Horizon Zero Dawn package is now $399. This sale is on until 17 April. These last two deals are exclusively in store at Big W. The 1TB PS4 Pro with four games (Horizon Zero Dawn, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Ghost Recon: Wildlands and Watch Dogs 2) is available for $559 – the suggested retail price for the console alone. Alternately, for $369, you can get the 1TB PS4, two controllers and Horizon Zero Dawn.
  • Xbox One S: Big W is also giving gamers a chance to lay their hands on Xbox One S bundles as well. For $299, you can get the 500GB console along with Ghost Recon: Wildlands in store only. And $349 gets you the 500GB console, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Forza Horizon 3.
  • Samsung KU6000 70-inch 4K smart TV: This whopper of a TV comes with an equally massive discount at JB Hi-Fi. The 70-inch UHD smart TV from Samsung is the whole package, even capable of playing 2K video with 4K upscaling. And it usually retails for $2,996, but you can get it now for $2,296, or $700 off. This price is valid only for today (Thursday, 13 April), so you might want to get a wriggle on if you'd like to scoop up this deal.
  • Microsoft Surface Pro 4: Microsoft claims this tablet can replace your laptop, and it possibly can. But these tablets take premium pricing to the next level. But you don't always have to pay full price. Right now, Kogan is offering up $496 off on the Surface Pro 4. There's a few options to choose from – ranging from 4GB to 16GB RAM and 128GB to 512GB of storage.

  • Sony 32-inch W600D HD-ready TV: For those of us who don’t really need the latest OLED and LCD tellies that cost the earth, Sony has an HD-ready TV that’s small enough to fit into any space and cheap enough to be affordable even when not on sale. The 32-inch W600D TV comes with built-in Wi-Fi and bass reflex speakers. Plus, for $299, it’s an absolute steal! It retails for $629, so you’re saving $330 on this little TV.
  • Sony 55-inch W650D Full HD smart TV: But most folk today want bigger and better TVs, ideally without cleaning out the bank. So if you’d like a 55-inch smart TV that comes with built-in Wi-Fi and apps ready for you to start streaming your favourite shows and movies, then Sony’s got this one on sale for $1,199. That’s down from $1,499, saving you $300 in the bargain.
  • Sony 65-inch W850C Full HD smart TV: If you’ve got the extra space and the extra cash lying around, Sony would like to interest you in the even bigger 65-inch, Android-toting, W850C smart TV, which is also on sale for $1,499. It retails for $2,499, so you’re saving a whopping $1,000 if you choose to make this your next set.
  • Sony HTCT80 2.1ch soundbar: And, of course, every good TV needs great sound too. To take advantage of your new and improved telly, you can also currently pick up a soundbar at a price that won’t burn a hole in your pocket. Sony’s entry-level 2.1ch Bluetooth-enabled soundbar will give you better acoustics than what your TV can muster and it’s only $188 at the moment – that’s down from $299, saving you $111.
  • Sony Extra Bass GTK-XB7 home audio system: Get the party started and keep it going with this high-power Bluetooth speaker from Sony that features line and speaker lights with strobe flash. Pump out your favourite tunes for just $295 as the Extra Bass speakers are currently on sale on the Sony website. And you can get them in different colours to suit your decor – available in blue, black or red. The regular retail price is $349, so you’re saving $54.
  • Sony viewfinder kits: Photographers using Sony’s RX1, RX1R, RX1RM2 cameras can save $100 on viewfinder kits compatible with the aforementioned models. The optical viewfinder kit is available for $599, while the electronic viewfinder kit is now priced at $499. The latter is also compatible with the Sony RX100M2.
  • Dyson V6 Slim handstick vacuum: Got some tough cleaning to do around the house over the Easter long weekend? What you need is, perhaps, Dyson’s V6 Slim stick vacuum which, as the company claims, is perfect for any floor type and lightweight to get your cleaning done seamlessly. It’s got the advantage of being cordless and becoming a small handheld unit as well to help you get into every nook and cranny around the house. It’s currently on sale at JB Hi-Fi for $299, saving you $100 on the RRP.
  • UE Boom 2 portable speaker: When the second-generation Boom 2 was launched in 2015, we tested it and gave it full marks. It’s still one of the best Bluetooth speakers available, plus it’s waterproof. It looks good, sounds exceptional and is now $41 cheaper at JB Hi-Fi. The discount may not seem like much, but it’s quite rare for these popular speakers to see any kind of substantial price drop. Get it now for $188 instead of its usual $229 RRP.
  • Lenovo ThinkPad E570: Designed for work and portability, Lenovo promises that this 15.6-inch laptop will meet every business need in terms of storage, memory, graphics and your budget. It features an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of memory and a 1TB hard drive. It’s a great mid-range option at its regular RRP of $899, but you can save $200 until Friday, 14 April by getting it from Lenovo for $699.
  • Lenovo V520s desktop PC: Another budget PC option, this time for a home or office set up, is Lenovo’s small form factor (SFF) system that houses an Intel Core i5 CPU, 8GB RAM and a 1TB hard drive under the hood. And this, too, is on sale until Friday, 14 April, for $649, saving you $250 on the RRP of $899. But if you need something with a bit more oomph, then you do have the option of a model featuring a 7th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, 8GB of memory and a 256GB SSD for $1,199. That’s a saving of $300 on the regular price of $1,499.
  • Swann home security system: For the ultimate in private security, Swann’s complete home security system is sure to give you peace of mind in one neat package. With the choice of four or eight individual cameras, each able to detect motion and automatically record in Full HD 1080p with audio, these systems are a steal when bought from Kogan. The four-camera system is currently available for just $488, saving you a whopping $711 on the RRP of $1,199. On the other hand, the eight-camera system, usually retailing for $1,999.95, is now just $629. That’s a massive saving of over $1,370.
  • Fitbit Alta HR: This is one lucky find. Thanks to a print error in Big W’s Easter catalogue (which advertised the original Fitbit Alta for $129, but pictured the Alta HR), and because it was spotted over at OzBargain, Big W is selling FitBit’s newest band for $50 off the RRP of $248, dropping the price down to just $198 (that’s a bit more than 20% off). We can’t see this deal on Big W’s site (at least not yet), so you’ll likely need to head in store if you want to pick one up. This offer is valid from 13 April to 17 April, but you might want to hurry to your local Big W before they run out of stock.

  • Hisense 55-inch 4K UHD smart TV: Smart TVs above 55-inches are becoming more and more popular, but most of these huge-size models carry a hefty price tag. But if you’re looking for something that won’t burn a massive hole in your pocket, then JB Hi-Fi has a 55-inch option from Hisense that could be just right for you. This affordable 55-inch telly comes sporting a 4K Ultra HD resolution and apps that’ll let you stream your favourite movies and TV shows, and under the hood it’s powered by dual-band wireless and a quad-core GPU. It retails for $998, but it’s on sale for $798, saving you $200.
  • Samsung 78-inch 4K UHD HDR smart TV: If the 55-inch smart TV isn’t big enough for you and you have the space (and spare change) to lay your hands a whopper of a telly, then the 78-inch Samsung smart TV could be it. This curved beauty from the South Korean manufacturer, promises great picture quality even from non-UHD videos with UHD upscaling. And even though this massive TV comes with an equally massive price tag of $5,996, you can save yourself $2,000 by getting it on sale at JB Hi-Fi for $3,996. And that’s a huge bargain if ever there was one.
  • Dell Inspiron 15 5000 laptop: Powered by a 7th-generation AMD A10 quad-core processor, this 15-inch laptop gives you 8GB of memory and a huge 1TB of storage. Plus there’s 30% off on this machine until Thursday, 13 April. So hurry and grab it from Dell for just $909. That’s down from $1,299, saving you $390 on the RRP.
  • Dell Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1: Another 15-inch option from Dell is the Inspiron 15 7000 2-in-1, featuring a 7th-generation Intel Core i7 CPU, 12GB RAM and 512GB SSD. It also sports an infrared camera for facial recognition and a Full HD display. And, until Thursday, 13 April, you can get 25% off on this device – on sale now at Dell for $1,724. That’s a saving of $575 on the RRP of $2,299.
  • Samsung Galaxy S7: With Samsung’s latest flagship available for pre-order, it’s only natural that the prices of the Galaxy S7s will begin to drop, but perhaps not by such a huge margin as Kogan is currently offering. You can now get this 32GB Android smartphone, which is still one of the best phones on the market, for as low as $599, making this premium device a budget option. It’s a steal at nearly half price, saving you a huge $549 on the RRP. But you might want to hurry, as the black models are already out of stock, with only the gold and silver ones still available.
  • Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge: If you want a smartphone that has an edge over the others (yes, pun intended), then the Galaxy S7 Edge is one heck of a phone. And, like the Galaxy S7, Kogan is offering a massive price drop on this device as well. The black, gold and silver models of this 32GB smartphone are now available for just $699, saving you $516 on the RRP of $1,215.
  • Apple iPhone 7: Prefer iOS over Android? Well, Kogan can save you money on Apple’s latest flagship phones, too. You don’t need to shell out $1,079 for the 32GB model of the iPhone 7 as you can lay your hands on it for $879, or alternatively pay just $999 for the 128GB version. They’re also available in all colours (except the new red option) – Jet Black, Black, Rose Gold, Gold and Silver.
  • Apple iPhone 6 and 6s: For some, the iPhone 7 wasn’t the upgrade they thought it would be, making the iPhone 6s comparable to Apple’s latest offering in many areas. So if you’d like to get a new smartphone with the Apple name on it for less, then the 6s is still a darn good phone. And you can save $200 on the 16GB model (available in only Space Grey and Silver) by getting it from Kogan for $699.
  • Apple iPhone SE: Apple decided to compete in the mid-range smartphone market and came out with the iPhone SE – a palm-friendly yet brilliant phone that won’t bust the bank when you buy it outright. And with prices starting at $519 for the 16GB model, this phone got a bit cheaper on Kogan as well, saving you up to $116.
  • Samsung Tab A 10.1: Need a new tablet? The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 comes with a 10-inch screen running at a 1920 x 1200 resolution, as well as having a capable Exynos 7870 mid-range processor and 3GB of RAM packed inside – great for streaming videos and being entertained while on the go.   • Samsung Galaxy TabPRO S: On the other hand, if you need a tablet that can do a lot more than the above Samsung Tab A, then the 12-inch Samsung Galaxy TabPRO S running Windows 10 could be the answer. It features an AMOLED display, 128GB of storage and an Intel Core M processor. And better yet, you can save a whopping $650 on this device, as it’s on sale now at Kogan for $749, down from $1,399.
  • Hisense 610L side-by-side frost-free fridge: The Hisense 610L side-by-side fridge not only looks good with its stainless steel finish, but features a water tank, adjustable spill-proof shelves and a modular wine caddy. So hosting a party just got easier and cheaper with this refrigerator available at JB Hi-Fi for $997. That’s down from $1,127, saving you $130.
  • Sphero BB-8 droid with Force Band: This one’s for the Star Wars fans! Get yourself an app-enabled BB-8 droid to play with or give you company while you watch Rogue One: A Star Wars Story at home. You can not only record and play back holographic AR videos but, with Sphero’s latest Watch With Me mode, BB-8 becomes the perfect movie date by reacting to Rogue One with sound effects and actions.
